In addition to our overriding commitment to provide the best quality service to all students, IMPAC University makes the following specific commitments to our students:
All core faculty will participate in academic advising. Each student will be assigned an academic advisor upon enrollment into a program at IMPAC University. Students should use that advisor as a resource throughout the program.
A student may be required to maintain extra contact with his/her advisor as a result of academic or disciplinary difficulty.
Occasionally, a student may establish a special rapport with a faculty member other than his/her advisor and may wish to change advisors. A student may request a change in advisor after his/her first two terms of enrollment.
An Advisor Change Request Form is available from the Student Services Office. The student’s current advisor and his/her new advisor must approve changes. Completed forms should be submitted to the Student Services Office for official processing. The Student Services Office is responsible for providing advisement to students on general administrative issues. In addition, staff members in that department may direct students to other departments for assistance.
