Program-Specific Admission Requirements
The program is designed for students with undergraduate majors in management information systems, computer information systems, business administration, or related fields. Interested students should also have knowledge and significant experience in computer applications. Experience with the Internet is a significant advantage.
Students who do not have the needed background experience or have an undergraduate degree in a different area may be required to take related courses as pre-requisites prior to formal entry to the program. Work experience or demonstrated skill in this field may exempt candidates from these pre-requisites. In rare exceptions, students with extensive experience in computers and information systems will be admitted to the program without a bachelor’s degree (following the rules for such admissions outlined in the University Catalog and elsewhere on this website).
