IMPAC University Chairman

There is overwhelming momentum of humankind towards self-determination, self-actualization, self-government, democracy and human rights. The combative forces within society in the 19th and 20th centuries resulted in devastating human and material destruction.

Society, through education, can come to learn that such endeavors are fruitless and self-destructive. In the 21st century, the self-destructive forces of the last 200 years, will yield to, and be limited only by, the creative forces of humankind as they apply to economic endeavors.

The combat of the 21st century will be a war of creativity where the sharpest minds with the most innovative ideas prevail. Learning and the application of knowledge will be the vehicles by which individuals, cultures, economies, and humankind will triumph.

In order to succeed in this new environment, individuals must develop the courage to examine and break paradigms. They must challenge conventional thinking to insure success. This will be especially true in the contemporary business world. For example, a global perspective in an inter-related worldwide economy will position a business endeavor for success. The ability to examine the diversity and multiple perspectives inherent in any culture or economy will likewise promote success. The skills to seek out knowledge, to think about knowledge, and to translate that knowledge so that it has relevance will promote lifelong success.

To succeed in the economy of the future, one must maintain a touchstone to reality combined with an understanding of the art of management and business.

The goal of IMPAC University is to prepare you to be a leader in this struggle for self-actualization and the improvement of humankind through personal achievement.
