IMPAC University utilizes several types of admission:

• REGULAR ADMISSION is granted to an applicant who completes the application process, meets all admission standards, and is accepted by the Admission Committee.
  
  
• PROVISIONAL ADMISSION may be granted under two circumstances.

1. The candidate's application is incomplete because some secondary support documentation has not been received. If an application is incomplete, a student may complete the documentation during his/her first quarter of enrollment. As long as the documentation supports unofficial information reported by the applicant, regular admission will be granted.
   
2. Deficiencies or possible weaknesses in meeting certain admission criteria have been identified. If provisional admission is the result of a deficiency, the deficiency is reported to the student as well as the actions necessary to eliminate the deficiency. The deficiency must be corrected within one year from the date of admission to the University.

• STUDENTS-AT-LARGE are applicants who are not enrolled in a specific degree program. There are several types of individuals who might enroll as students-at-large.

1. Students who wish to take one or more courses from the University but have not applied for a specific degree program.
   
2. Students who are not able to complete the application process before the beginning of a specific term.
   
3. Students who are not qualified for admission to a specific degree program who wish to complete courses for the purpose of increasing their "knowledge capital".

IMPAC University reserves the right to restrict enrollment of students-at-large in any of it's courses or programs.
